I recently bought a sim only monthly contract from Id mobile and transferred my number onto it. When I received the new sim, it would not work with my phone (Samsung galaxy s5 mini - G800f) I then found that it is not on the list of id compatible devices: I therefore cancelled the contract so as not to pay for a monthly contract I couldn't use.- I now seem to have lost my old number as my old contract was cancelled when I switched the number onto id .
I have now been told on another online forum that the new provider - id - should have been able to provide a compatible sim for my handset. This was not offered when i raised the issue on id online chat and ended up cancelling my account. Does anyone know if this is true? Can I set up a new monthly contract with id and request a sim that is compatible with my handset? How would i go about this if so?
