Help with ported number in chat features

I have ported my number to my new ID sim. However, in settinga the card is showing an unknown number so there are certain features I cannot use. For example, chat features doesnt acknowledge the ported number so I cannot use this anymore. Having a new sim with the ported number attached would solve this problem. Can this be arranged with ID? Many thanks

Hello @Anjl51,

iD Mobile doesn’t support RCS messaging so this would be why you can’t access chat features.

The number in the settings doesn’t update after a port.

As long as the app/account is showing the correct number, this should be the main thing.

 

If you call/text and the correct number shows, the number will be functioning as normal, just no access to the chat features.
