Hi,

Does anyone know if the HTC 8X (Model No PM23200) is compatible with the iD network please?

From what I’ve read it seems to be phones that are 2G that aren’t compatible, this phone is 3G and 4G so thinking it should work.

Any help much appreciated.

Yes, you are right! the ID Network will only work for 3G/4G mobiles
I was a little disappointed as I liked using the fallback service of 2G as it always gave a better signal.

There is a some conflicting information out there about the HTC 8X and whether it is both 3G and 4G.
Even though this mobile is rather dated by current tech specs, I can confirm it is 3G however I cannot confirm whether it is compatible with the ID network for one reason below.

If the mobile is carrier locked then you may have an issue using it on the ID Network.
