I’ve set up my sons monqi phone and it seems ok apart from the fact he can’t receive sms messages. He gets messages from the two bonded parents but nothing else. I can see he’s got messages waiting through the parent app but there’s no notification for him on his phone.
do you have to have contacts installed before receiving an sms from them?
coverage is fine so it’s not a coverage issue.

Sounds like an issue specific to the handset and not a coverage issue as you've mentioned.

What happens if you've installed the contacts, does this then work in receiving an SMS from them?
