Please add LG G6 to Wifi Calling

Hello Guys, can you please add LG G6 to the wifi calling enabled phones? I joined ID thinking this would work for any phone, but I didn't realise this was a restricted feature. I only have a signal in my bedroom at home. 😞 just just of curiosity why doesnt this feature work will all phones? Thanks you

Hello @watty05,

We have a page that lists our compatible handsets for WiFi Calling found here.

We offer a 30-days returns on all of our new contracts purchased directly from us so if you're unhappy with the levels of coverage you're receiving, it may be worth looking at returning your contract.

ID Mobile don't actively block or restrict this feature for phones, it is just a case they can't guarantee that the feature will work with all devices not on the official supported list.

This is a combination of phone manufacture and network operator.
Not all mobiles have this feature and for sure not all networks offer it either. So glad ID Mobile do!

Please check you have enabled this feature?
  1. From the home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Under the Networks tab, tap Call.
  3. Tap the WiFi Calling switch to enable.
