I have just bought a refurbished Samsung S7 Edge and as I have no signal at home followed ID Mobiles instructions to the letter. Checked that WIFI was on and updated to the latest version of Android that ID appears to support at the momnet which is version 8.0.0. On my old Moto g4 which does not support Wifi calling if I go into settings and type WIFI calling there is an entry there for it, it wouldnt work as the phone does not support it. If you go into settings on the S7 and type WIFI calling it’s not referenced.
I have spent ages on a chat session and ID Mobile are now trying to fob me off with going to Carphone Warehose. I am not about to that as I didn’t buy the phone from them.Â
If Id Mobile can’t come back to me with a reason why their version of Android doesnt even show the facility I will seriously consider what my alternatives are.
