I have a new sim and am unable to make or receive text messages and phone calls. Bit is OK for Internet and e mail etc. How do I get a new sim or sort this

I’ve had the same issue for the last three weeks. I have had a new SIM sent but the same thing happens. After 3 weeks of answering the same questions over again with their support team (have you tried your SIM in another phone, have you tried manual network selection, have you tried toggling between 3G and 4g) my patience ran dry and I’m leaving for EE. Good luck!
