Sim code too short
I have just purchased a new sim and got a 4 digit unlock code. However my Android phone is asking for an 8 digit sim service provider unlock pin

Hi Tim,
This sounds as though you need a PUK code as the SIM card has become locked for some reason. This code can be found within the packaging that came with your SIM card.
