I’ve had an issue with my new phone, it’s gone to the Samsung shop to get checked and I’m now using a back up Samsung Galaxy A6, but the sim isn’t registering the network and I don’t know what to do! Any suggestions?

What error message is displayed on the Samsung you’re using at current?
Do you happen to know if the iD Mobile SIM is working fine when you pop it in any other phones briefly to check?
