Recently i refused to pay my bill, as it have gotten absolutely crap at customer, I have now settled my bill but have swapped my phone and tablet numbers over, one is on it the other lebara. Bill all paid direct debit is reset, I get a threatening message from it today as swapped numbers they want to cut me off and liable for the whole bill, try to contact them the service is crap

If you ported out your number to another network as you have described doing, it would indeed cancel your existing agreement with us and trigger a final bill. This would have been advised upon when requesting a PAC code to switch numbers.
