We'd certainly hope not @Archiefmac98 and we'd imagine that's the last thing Samsung would want too.
You should be due a replacement under warranty for any sort of hardware fault like that though.

Samsung has thrown a whole bunch of time and money into understanding that whole fiasco.
They've also implemented what they call and 8-step safety process to further insure the quality of their batteries.
I think they're on top of it now, it's been a few phone generations since we last had that kind of trouble.
As@Kevin says though, in the event of something like that happening again. You'd be covered anyway.
