Customer notice: SMS are not working for some customers

We’re currently experiencing a technical issue that means some customer may be unable to send SMS.

Please bear with us, our technical teams are working hard to fix this issue and full service will be restored as soon as possible. 

While we’re working to restore this function, you should still be able to send messages using other communications apps, such as WhatsApp or Messenger.

Did seem like reports of error 38 were growing in number.

My wife and I are both able to send sms texts this morning but they are charging to our capped amount. We should not have been charged according to our contracts.
