Hi ID

I understand you will not say when a specific handset will be supported for 5G, but can you tell us which handsets are in the testing backlog?  For myself, I would like to know whether the Oppo Find X2 Pro is ever going to be supported, as I can see the X3 Pro is now supported.

Thanks

PS you might even allow users to vote on which should be prioritised...one way for your users to feel they have more input

@AndyX2Pro That is a great idea! However, I am not sure if this would work as it would need to have a significant number of members voting. We will soon be launching an ideation board though, a dedicated place where members can share any ideas they have. So keep a look out for that!

Regarding your question on the Oppo find X2 pro I will investigate this for you.

That was Quick for Pixel 6 / 6pro

Thanks for the reply @Emil look forward to what you find re the Oppo Find X2 Pro, I wonder how different it is to the X3 Pro?  I'm happy to test if that's possible.

The ideation board could be good, so long as it's transparent and ID acts on the user votes.

Thanks

Hey @AndyX2Pro

No problem at all.

Unfortunately there are no current plans to test the X2 Pro. We are constantly working with our network partners Three and suppliers to expand our list of 5G compatible devices.

In regards to the ideation board, my vision is for it to work how you describe, so let’s see!

We are aiming tor a January/February launch.

Hope my answer helps and thanks for your question :grinning:

Emil

I've noticed my pixel 4a (5g) finally connected to the 5g network.

@Emil Thanks for the reply, surprising about Three and the Find X3 Pro because they are selling it on their website http://www.three.co.uk/oppo/find-x3-pro-5g?colour=black&memory=256&paym=true

What about the Oppo Find X2 Pro, which came out last year, is that anywhere on the list?

Thanks

when will 5g arrive in london e5 9hs

@Sandy Jenner Unfortunately, this is still an untested device. We are unable to disclose what devices will be tested or are currently being tested. However, we are always looking to add more smartphones to our 5G compatible portfolio.

I just ordered a new sim, I wouldn't have bothered if realised earlier that Samsungs latest flagship phones don't work on 5g

Poco M3 pro 5g does not work on ID mobile unfortunately.

For anybody wondering, 5g works fine on my flip 3 and fold 3

Hello there,

Is that Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G supported on ID 5G?

Thanks
