How long does it take to port a number?

My current numbers will be active until the end of the month with my old provider. I need to ensure that if I place an order with iD on a Monday, that the port will complete in under 12 days. Please can anyone advise? I was disappointed that they refused to answer a simple question via twitter and directed me here so first impressions aren't good so far...

Generally speaking the quickest way to get any questions answered is from our Live Chat Team, though we’re always keen to help here too.

If you have your PAC (code) from your old provider, and you were to submit those PAC details to us on a Monday.  Then you should have the numbers moved over by Tuesday/ Wednesday at the latest in any normal case.

 

We’d recommend after you have your iD Mobile SIM’s that you register those two accounts individually on our website, then you can simply log in and provide the PAC and number you’re moving over to us within our iD website or the iD Mobile App.
