Need to cancel a SIM-only plan

I bought a new sim deal only to be told that I couldnt keep my number and had to upgrade (which I have). I've now been periodically trying for over a month to speak to someone to cancel the new sim but every time systems are down or I'm stuck in a queue. Please can someone help?

Please cancel transaction ref  ‪112407042‬.  I have screenshot of chats saying to contact back at a later date.
