Transferring old ID number (from lost SIM) to new ID SIM (with different number)

I got an ID about 18months ago - so all my contacts use this number.

I didn’t register for an online account. No need - or so I thought, and for 18months I was right!

Now I am sad! (replace this with your favourite profoundly bad language born of frustration)

Since then I lost my phone. Ive replaced the phone. But since I didn’t have an online account I couldn’t cancel SIM or get a PUK code - and you CANNOT TALK to ANYBODY on the PHONE or LIVECHAT! How do I transfer my number from my lost SIM to my new SIM??

How long does it normally take for ID employee to reply to these? I’m posting this to see if I get an email when someone replies.

How do I get a replacement SIM sent out to my address - I need to check you have the right address for me. (Direct Debit still active)

And cancel (for a full refund) the SIM I was just FORCED to buy just to get on to this forum!

Poor business practices is you ask me.

How do I get a PUK / PAC code so I can simply get my number transferred to another network?

If you TURN OFF VPN for the Livechat button to appear!

I went in to Carphone warehouse and they had a button - it took some investigation to find this out!!
