Making use of your iD Plan features this Christmas

2020 has been far from normal. We’ve all collectively spent so much time away from each other that our phones have played a bigger role in helping us stay connected than ever. One thing won’t change though, and that’s the much-anticipated opportunity to catch up with loved ones and get back in touch over the festive period.

At iD, we make it easy to stay on top of your allowances, so you can drop that message or make that call to those close to you whenever you like.

 

Data Rollover

 

With Data Rollover, we take your remaining data from the current billing month and add it to your allowance for next month. Sticking to Wi-Fi when you’re at home is a great way to bank that monthly data. So, if you’ve been saving up in November, you’ll have plenty left for Zoom parties and online family get-togethers this Christmas.

 

Bill Capping

 

We’ve also got our handy Bill Capping feature that lets you take control of your account by limiting out-of-plan charges. If you set your Bill Cap to £0 on the iD app or on My Account online, you won’t be able to make calls outside your allowance, but you also won’t be charged. So, you can chat away to friends and family over the festive season with the peace of mind that it’s all included in your monthly plan.

 

Roaming

 

And then there’s our Inclusive Roaming, which is ideal if you’re planning a getaway. Roam like at home in 50 countries across the EU, EEA and beyond. Whether you’re staying with family abroad or soaking up the culture on a quick city break, you can use your calls, texts or data allowances just like you do in the UK. No extra charges.

 

If you find that you’re often running out of allowances, or frequently having to purchase add-ons, don’t forget you can also change your plan to one that suits you better in the iD Mobile app or My Account online. As long as long as you’ve been with iD for over 30 days, you’ll be able to change your plan.
