Hello all,

Hopefully someone can help me. I am looking to buy the new Google Pixel 5 5G. Now the contract that I would be getting is 4G but when 5G comes out would I be able to get the 5G network or would I need to change sims to get the 5G?

Hi @Oll1e2, generally speaking for a moment, you’d need to have a 5G-enabled plan in order to take advantage of 5G speeds. If you placed a 4G SIM in a 5G phone, you’d simply get 4G speeds.

As of yet, we haven’t announced our plans for 5G.
