My girlfriend got a iPhone from carphone warehouse in 2017 and they have contracted this through Vodafone. Ever since she bought the phone ID mobile has taken £5 out of her account even though she has never heard of it, made an account with them or got a sim with them. She contacted carphone warehouse last year who said they never heard of ID mobile and doesnt know why she is getting charged that. 

She has now contacted barclays to claim her money back and cancelled the direct debit with ID mobile. 

We have now got 2 letters through our door from ID mobile, one stating that her account is closed. Another a week or so later claiming she owes £56 to ID mobile?!  

We have never made an account with ID mobile, before all this we had never heard of ID mobile and now getting letters like this?

It is clear that Carphone warehouse has obviously passed on our bank details without our knwoledge and set up a direct debit and there is no way to sort this because there is no humans to talk to, and Carphone Warehouse claims they dont know who the company is?!

Not too sure who you spoke with in Carphone Warehouse, but I can confirm iD Mobile is a network that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dixons Carphone. If you can get your partner to message us here we can check to see when the second account was opened.
