Account opened in my name (Fraud)

Hi, I've received letters today from you about 2 accounts that have been opened in my name.

I tried to call to report fraud but I couldn't speak to anyone. Can someone help me?

Have you reported this to Action Fraud online?

If not you should do so - iD will need the case numbers when you speak to them about this problem.

How do I get in touch with this company to get these accounts shut down?

Okay @Helpplease, you could try one of iD Mobile’s social media channels:

  1. Facebook
  2. twitter

I believe iD agents are available on both platforms 9am - 5pm most days.

Otherwise, you can wait for iD to respond here.

Okay @Helpplease

Apparently this is a known issue, which happens if log in to the ID Community and select the “Remember Me” option.

This was reported to iD by @WelshPaul some time ago but it’s still not fixed.

Try and log out of the ID Mobile community; you should be able to visit the idmobile.co.uk site as normal.

Other options are one of iD Mobile’s social media channels:

  1. Facebook
  2. twitter
