activating new SIM

In January I changed plan and received a new SIM card but was told I  didn't have to use it. Yesterday suddenly I received an SMS telling me my new SIM would be activated and thus would take 24 hours. It has been over 36 hours and I have no connectivity yet. Can this be solved asap please?

Please contact Live Chat team are available for account related support.

They’re available between 9am – 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am- 6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Unfortunately, were working on a reduced staff due to COVID-19, and the team are extremely busy, so the Live Chat button may not always appear as `available`.
