Bereavement - change contract to PAYG

Following a bereavement in the family, we would like to change a mobile contract to a PAYG sim so we can continue to keep the phone number.

 

Can someone please contact me about this ASAP.

I’d suggest starting this process by looking at the community article “Notifying us of a bereavement”.

Hi @traindriver42, terribly sorry to hear about this. Please accept my sincerest condolences, and I hope you’re doing well.

Unfortunately, we cant convert a Pay Monthly line to Pay As You Go outside of the first 30 days, and we’re also not able to keep an account active in the name of a deceased person.

However, if you contact our FacebookTwitter or Live Chat teams and provide them with a copy of the death certificate, they’ll be able to provide you with a PAC which will allow you to transfer the number to a Pay As You Go SIM with another network.
