cant call

I am unable to make or receive calls  I can send and receive text messages ok. This started in the middle of the day today. I have tried shutting down and restarting my phone  I used another sim and am able to call from the same phone using different sim. Is there an issue with signal or network? I have been with id and no issues before. I was thinking of getting another IDsim but not so sure now.

Hello @asimghafur,

That sounds frustrating. 

I know you’ve said you’ve restarted your phone, bit it might  be worth doing this again using the following procedure:

1) Power down your phone
2) Remove the SIM and clean the contacts
3) Wait 15 minutes, reinsert the SIM and power the phone back on.

If you’re still having issues, try performing a network reset.


Settings > General management or System > Reset > Reset network settings


Settings > Reset > Reset Network Settings

The network reset will delete all saved Wi-Fi networks from your phone, so you'll need to set these up again.

If all else fails, try contacting the iD Live Chat team and they should be able to help.

I did all the above and it still doesn't let me call.

Okay @asimghafur, the iD Live Chat service is here: 

Their chat system has iD agents 9am to 8pm Mon-Fri and 9am to 6pm at weekends.

There’s an annoying chat-bot that works 24/7, so you I recommend you type “talk to a person” to get past the chat-bot.
