Entering numbers on IVR's not working - LV Insurance

Phoned LV insurance this morning and got the "PRESS 1" for this "2" for that etc. Pressed numbers on my phone and nothing happened. Why not?

Hi welcome to the ID Commununity
You need to enable touch tones for the keypad (not keyboard settings)
Possibly under call settings for android
Phone Dialer > Settings > Call Settings > OTHER CALL SETTINGS – Dial pad touch tone
As for iphone well make sure you do not have the mobile set to silent vibrate only with the button on the side
