faulty sim card

Hello I have recently upgraded my handset and received a new SIM card I have activated it several hours ago but I keep getting SIM card not installed? I have tripled checked and it is inserted correctly and tried it in my old phone and it also says the same that there isn’t anything inserted will a new one need to be sent?

If you have tried the sim in another phone and are getting the same error mesage then it must be a faulty sim card and a replacement sim will need to be sent. We’ll shortly send you a Private Message to your Community account, so we can discuss your issue further. To access your messages, click your profile picture in the top right hand corner and then click ‘Private Messages’.
