HELP with keeping number

I have put in a stac number instead of a pac number to Id net. Having  contacted my previous supplier 4 times and they say that i can not get a new oac number frkm them. Does this mean i have lost my number?

Are you moving to iD Mobile from another network?

 

A stac code can be cancelled and a PAC code can be requested if the mobile number is still active on an account.

I have been told by 3 that the number is not active on my old account.  I am assuming that as i put stac in to id net that it is not active with id net? So have i lust my old number?
