How can I close a sim only account to stop bills. Not used for 2 years forgot number.

I'm partly deaf with severe tinnitus and can't hear some words on phone services.
Can't get on chat, it's often not working as far as I can tell. So how do I close an account I can no longer use, if I don't know the phone number.

Thanx in advance for anyone who can help. 🙂
