App and website asks you to set a 6 digit PIN yet telephone asks for a 4 digit which is useless. Live chat simply never works. I puk from EE and my contacts are getting texts from both the I'd mobile number and my ee number. Why one day are contacts getting messages from one telephone number and the week after from the other?

Hi
Â
- 1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
- 2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
- 3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
- 4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
- 5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages) 6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under "Start new conversations from:"

If you’re using using an Android device, try this:
- On your device, open Messages
- At the top right, tap Settings
- Tap Chat features
- Toggle 'Enable chat features' to OFF.
- Turn the phone off, wait 15 minutes, then power the phone back on
- Try to send a message again.
- Now toggle ‘Enable chat features’ to ON and see if everything’s working

If that still doesn’t work,  I’d recommend contacting the Facebook, Twitter or Live Chat teams so they can take a look at your account.

Thank you,
Rory
