I have 2 ID accounts - one for each child. How to transfer them over so I can have one of my own?

Ordered an ID mobile last week but have had an email saying someone will call me as there is an issue (no-one has)

I tihnk it’s because I already have 2 accounts in my name - 1 for each child, so can’t have a third.  I want to transfer both account to the relevant child and have my own account for my number.

Nothing covered on help page, online chatbot useless and no telephone number to speak to an actual person!

Hi @Jackstini,

How old are your children? Are they old enough to have contracts in their own names?

If so, you’re best bet would be for them to open their own accounts, and then you request PAC codes for each number, so they can port them away from iD, and then port them back in to their new lines. So essentially, they’d each have a brand new account, in their respective name, with their desired number. You’d then be free to take out that account for yourself.

Does that make sense?

They are 14 and nearly 12 - is that old enough?

HI @Jackstini

I’m afraid the minimum age to take out a contract is 18 years.
