I would like to cancel my contract but I no longer have phone or number

Hi I need help cancelling my contract and closing the account as the phone is no longer in use. I don't have the phone or phone number (this belonged to my son who changed his phone a while ago). The contract was part of a deal that I had when I upgraded my own phone.
