New sim inserted into moto g7 power.
Phone is new and was working with a BT sim which was inserted temporarily.
Phone shows "Sim status No service", Phone number: "unknown"

The Moto G7 Power should be compatible as it's a handset that supports 3G and 4G bands and should work.
Have you tried the SIM in another device? Does this work at all?
