Hi the phone my sim was in died and I have bought another phone put the sim in and now its saying its locked and I ned a sim network puk code. Any help please.

I am sorry to hear about this! Is the phone asking for a PUK code or is it asking for something else?

What is a simpin

A code used to stop unauthorised use of a (physical) SIM card in a mobile phone.
It’s a way preventing other people from using your SIM card for calls, texts and mobile data.

A SIM PIN is as @andewhite suggests above a SIM PIN would be a user created PIN to stop the use of others using the SIM.
