I haven’t received my upgrade phone when I was told I would receive it I was told Monday, and still no notifications from DPD today either, how long does it take as my new contract has started

it was returned to carphone warehouse, my old contract finishes today so I have asked for a pac number so I can take my number with me to another provider, i haven’t had a phone for 8 days as the upgrade didn’t arrive and my old sim was cancelled on the day it was supposed to arrive which it didn’t, I didn’t get a new sim either so I couldn’t use my old one. I also paid £9.99 for the new upgrade so Im out of pocket there as well, had they got me the phone when they said I would of stayed but not now
