Family try calling and some times get a message saying my phone is not Registered? If someone tries adding me on WhatsApp they say they need to put +44 to find me?
why are these two things happening? Thanks

I think that due to Whatsapp being an international application, when adding someone using the phone number only, the country code for the UK (+44) will need to be added to the start of the number after removing the first 0 so for example if your number is 07123456789 it would need to be entered as +447123456789 to work. It would be best speaking to Whatsapp support about this but I expect the above to be the reason why.
In regards to the not registered error, have you recently ported your number over to us? Also, how often does this happen when your family call you; is it every call?
