out of stock order

I placed an order on March 26th for the iPhone 12 pro 512gb which was out of stock and said the expected delivery date is April 27th. I didn't mind waiting as it seemed a good price and I want to know if this delivery day is still correct, as if i go to purchase the phone today, the date has been pushed back to May and I was wondering what date my order is due to be delivered. I have tried to use the live chat, but after spending over 20 minutes waiting and confirming my details, I got cut off for no reason. It seems to be difficult to get hold of anyone, and this has really put me off.

Hi @jdavies,

 

The revised date on the website takes into account expected stock, and pre-orders that we need to fulfil. So people ordering now will get it in May, but pre-orders should be getting their handsets as advised previously, that being April 27th.
