PAC code provided is not working

Hi, I have just bought a new sim and contract.

 I was previously with ID mobile. Whenever, i try to use the PAC code to keep my (ID mobile) old number, it says that I cannot use it as it is from ID mobile. 

I am unsure how to fix this

This is the exact message that comes up ‘You can't port in with an iD PAC code. You need to get one from your old network, and use that instead.’

Hi @Sarah Holdaway 

Unfortunately, you can not port an existing iD number to a new iD sim as we do not support internal migrations. If you are wanting to keep the same number, then we would advise cancelling your new contract and upgrading your existing one.
