Persistent problems registering account

I've been trying to register a new ID sim, but the system won't let me as I previously had an account with ID and although this is now closed it says I'm registered but will only bring up my old account. I can't get to a point in the registration process where I can try and use an alternative email address it just blocks me after putting in surname, year of birth and number. I have been told by the technical team twice now that they have resolved my problem, but they haven't. This is incredibly frustrating as I want to port a number across to the new sim. The sim was purchased as part of a new phone contract so I need this resolving soon or the contract is being cancelled. Any ideas how to resolve this?

As you have been with iD Mobile previously you will need to register  your new account with a different email address.

The number you are trying to port over to iD Mobile, which network is this number currently registered with?
