Phone on 'Emergency Calls only'

My phone has been on ‘emergency calls only’ for several days. I wanted to check my account to make sure my bill had been paid but when I tried to log into my ID phone app, it sends me a security code which I can’t access because it is on ‘Emergency calls only’. And the phone help desk is virtually offline at the moment. 

The coverage app shows that coverage in my area is ‘very good’  at the moment.

Any ideas?

PS - when I try and call it says ‘not registered on network’.

Have you restarted the phone at all in the last few days?

Please could we be able to get a postcode for the area you’re having problems at?

We’ll take a further look at this for you from here.

No, I have not restatrted it - so I did and everything seems fine now.
