Question

Plan not listed

I see ID Mobile offers 4GB + unlimited calls + unlimited messages for £6/month an dmany more in uSwitch.
When I try to change to any of those plans, the website doesn’t let me though. I’m only shown many much worse options.
How can I make the change?

Hi @mikelp

This would be most likely due to the offers are no longer available. We would advise you to contact uSwitch directly regarding this.

The offer is clearly available.
I can follow the links to get into ID Mobile’s website just fine.

Seems like some offers are only available for new clients, while old clients are left with worse plans?

Hi @mikelp

Are you an existing iD sim-only customer and are wanting to change to this deal?

-Mohsin

Hi Mohsin,

Exactly.
I want to change my plan, but those offered when I click “change my plan” in https://my.idmobile.co.uk/ are worse than the one I have. All I see in uSwitch or even https://www.idmobile.co.uk/sim-only-deals are better than my current plan.

I’d be ok with the one in the screenshot. Not with the ones I’m offered in https://my.idmobile.co.uk/

Ah okay @mikelp

Unfortunately, you will not be able to change to this plan as this is New sim-only plan and can not change from an existing sim-only deal to this new deal. The only way to change to this deal would be to buy this as a new sim-only contract, however, this would result in you having 2 contracts and you will not be able to port your existing number to the new one.

I see.
It’s quite sad having to move companies just to go get somewhere else the same thing you already offer to new clients here.

So be it, then.
Thanks for your help!

Sorry about that. If there is anything else we can help with, please let us know.

You could grant existing clients over their minimum contract period access to the same offers as new clients.
In this case, that plan I already cited.
In absence of that, I see myself forced to just go to another provider.

Why iD Mobile?
