Received a letter saying direct debit set up in my name

Like others I’ve received a letter saying a direct debit has been set up in my name, though the phone number and bank details are not mine.

 

Would like to get this resolved and the account shut down please?

Sorry to hear your details have been used fraudulently @tdocking.

The messaging in this forum isn’t real-time, so if you’re happy to wait several days for iD Mobile to read your post, hang on here.

I’d suggest it’d be quicker to contact iD Mobile privately via facebook (Messenger) or Twitter (by direct message).

It’s best to contact iD between 9am - 6pm weekdays, and 9am - 6pm weekends - you’ll speak to a real person.

You’ll also need a reference number from Action Fraud online, when you’re speaking to iD Mobile.
