Good Morning,
A few hours ago I received this text:
WildCat
FreeMsg: Thanks for subscribing to WildCatGames from BonaFideMobile. Unlimited Games FREE for 24hrs then £4.50 every week until you text STOP to 65799. HELP? 03333134959 or cs@wildcatgames.com. Go to https://www.wildcatgames. com Charge applied to mobile phone bill.

I didn't click any link and of course I didn't subscribe to that site at all.
I won't reply to that text and I won't open that link.

I contacted ID Mobile and they suggested me to contact the Phone-paid Services Authority.
I reported the issue and they will get back to within 2 weeks.
ID Mobile adviced me to turn off the premium services and to set the cap limit to 0 pounds to avoid any further extra charges ( the bill cap was already 0).

I'm not sure if I have already been charged. I get the bill at the end of the month.

I googled up the same text and other people had the same problem.

Any advice?

Thanks - used the website last night to get their details and request a stop.

Glad to hear this.

If you’ve been charged, you can also request a refund for this.

Hi @Sk15kev,

There's a regulatory body called the Phone-paid Services Authority (PSA) who regulate these. If you believe that this was signed up in error and are disputing the charges, you can make a complaint via the PSA here: https://psauthority.org.uk

PSA should be able to help further as well as give you more information on this. They will be able to help you stop receiving further subscriptions as well as assist in recovering any monies paid.

I too have seen this on my sons phone through ID, but he has premium services set to off in his profile!

If we try and reply with STOP, it cannot send.

Hello @Simone94,

I'm sorry you've been a victim of this text scam.

iD Mobile does not directly charge you for this so we're not able to provide a refund. The subscription charges us which we place onto your bill.

The text subscriptions are only signed up from the user end not by the network so we're not able to stop these or unsubscribe. To stop the subscription by texting them back incurs a charge but it will stop any further messages.
