Hello, my sim card did not arrive with my phone. It looks like this is the case for a lot of people. I hope that my contract does not start until my SIM has arrived. I have tried to speak to someone about this but the chat is too busy.
Additionally, the phone only came with a lead of a charger and not a plug for it. Would I be able to be sent a charger with a plug attached too?

It seems like you have ordered the new iPhone. Unfortunately, these do not come with the charging plug. This will be the same through all-new Apple phones. We are sorry to hear your sim card has still not arrived. This usually is sent out with the phone so not sure why you haven't received this. We will send you a Private Message to look into this.
