I took out a new contract with ID, received my new phone and sim card but the sim card is not recognized by the phone. I have tried switching on and off, airplane mode etc and nothing works. The sim does not work in any other ID compatible devices either. I have submitted my PAC code to swap my old number to the new sim several days ago so am worried I will be left without a working network on Monday. I contacted carephone warehouse on Friday who said they would ‘escalate’ the issue and it would start working in 24-48 hours but this has not happened. The call handler said the sim was activated several days ago so this wasn't the issue.Â
