Sim not activated

I've just joined ID received my phone and new sim today. But my Sim card is not working, the phone recognises it has a sim but it states no network.

 

I have tried the flight mode, taking it out and wiping then turning it on and off but still no luck. Can someone help please.

A new iD SIM card should be supplied activated and ready to use immediately.

Either the phone or SIM could be faulty - can you:

  1. Try the new iD SIM in another phone?
  2. Try another non-iD SIM in your new phone?

Otherwise you’ll need to speak to an iD agent - do this in real-time using Live Chat.

If chat doesn't work on your smartphone, try another device like a tablet, iPad or laptop.

Just remember that iD agents work between 9am - 8pm weekdays and 9am - 6pm weekends. Outside these times you’ll get an automated reply.
