Transferring Old Number

I’m trying to transfer my old number. I completed the request form last week but received a text to say it didn’t work and to contact the ID help desk. The chat bot just takes me through the request form steps again rather than addressing why it didn’t work. So I’ve done it again and anticipating the same failure to work but can’t contact anyone to fix it. It’s heading the way of a cancelled contract.
