Unlock IPhone 5S after upgrading to new 6S

Hi,
My understanding was that ID unlocked IPhones after 6months of a contract.
However, after 2years of contract, and now upgrading with ID to a new 6S - the original 5S is still locked and I can't give it to my son on a different network.

Is there anyway to unlock the original 5S?

No, that doesn't answer my question.
I know it is locked.
I know you should have unlocked it already. (after contract end)
It is still locked.
It is impossible to use live chat as it is permanently "busy"
Please unlock my phone.

Contacting ID Mobile by Live Chat, phone or email is the only way to have it done.

You can try emailing  and see if they can help you with that. Just leave them your community nickname and details about your phone (including IMEI number). Hopefully they will be able to help.

Any locked phones would not automatically unlock by themselves, but after 6 months, we'd be able to help you get that unlocked for you.
