Upgrading from sim only to pay monthly phone contract

Hi I’m not sure if I have done this right. I currently have a sim only contract for my son and have decided to upgrade this to get him a new phone. When I logged in I selected upgrade and selected the phone I wanted. When I set up when it arrives will the sim only end and number transfer over to new sim

Hi @Chantelle Brissett,

 

Pretty much yes. The upgraded line will replace the SIM only plan and the 24 monthphone plan will take it place. Have you had a confirmation email? And if so, does it refer to the transaction as an upgrade?

On the confirmation email it shows the purchase.

Model chosen Samsung A12- Upgrade
Then contract details below as it show in basket. Hopefully this means I’ve gone through right way

Thanks for sharing, from the information you have provide you have indeed upgraded.

You will receive a new SIM card with your new phone, once activated your mobile number will transfer over to the new SIM card.
