Upgrading my sim only package

I just upgraded my sim only deal online. But I received an email saying that I would receive a new SIM card and possibly a new number? I do not want a nee number. How do I fix this?

Did you upgrade your deal on the App or by logging in to your online account? 

 

When you upgrade iD Mobile will send you new sim as a replacement for your current one. It is recommended for you to swap them over and activate the new one in your Account or App. Number will stay the same though. What exactly the email said about getting new number?
