Voicemail not working after full length of rings.

I have a Motorola 5G phone. Voicemail is on in my account and calls which I decline go to voicemail without any problems. Calls which ring for the full length of time do not go to voicemail and a message states the number called is not recognised, check the number and dial again. Help please.

That’s very strange. 

Please contact our Live Chat team who are able to look into your account .

I have been on Live Chat twice and both times my problem was not resolved. I am also emailing Customer Services and receiving replies from different members of staff. So far these people have also not been able to move beyond telling me to switch my phone or voicemail off and on again. I need more specific help or I am going to change providers.
