Since I've joined iD mobile, i consistently receive a voicemail notification message on phone despite not having any voicemail. I have ported my old number. I've tried clearing the cache in my messaging & contacts app. Then resetting the phone. I've tried leaving my mobile number voicemail to delete later. None of these steps have worked. Does anyone else have this issue or found a working solution ?
Has anyone received confirmation of Pixel 6 Pro in White being processed for delivery. Placed order on 24th and just a processing email. All agents seem to know nothing apart from awaiting delivery. I know its pre order but would like to know if this means back order now. Wife ordered the same day for Pixel 6 Pro in black and hers in on the way. Sort of wish I went with black now. Looking like the Bose offer won't qualify at this rate as no handset.
Used my PAC code to transfer my old number over. Was told it would be done within 48hrs. We're now 6 days later and I'm still waiting on it being done! 3 times I have been on to the useless chat feature to be told it has been marked urgent and the tech team will get to it. Totally unacceptable. Not great for a first time customer. No-one will tell me how long it's going to take. If I knew it would be this much hassle, I would have went with another company. Total shambles!!!!
I am not receiving OTP messages from my bank, this in only since I changed to ID MOBILE, I have verified with my bank that they are being sent, this is a network issue, your company has blocked PUSH MESSAGING. Can you advise your course of action please, if you cannot resolve this issue I’ll be forced to cancel my contract as it’s not fit for purpose.RegardsSteve
why cant i use wifi calling on s9 plus i bought from somewhere else? you can use WiFi calling with Vodafone, O2
I think that ID mobile is acting unfairly by not allowing users to use wi-fi calling on mobiles not purchased from ID mobile. I wish to make a formal complaint to ID mobile. I've spoken with other carriers Vodafone , O2 and EE. If you take out pay monthly SIM from them and provide your own mobile, you can use WI-FI calling features as it's part of phone features. I spoke with Samsung store at Trafford centre and they confirmed feature should always be available. I'm looking at taking this matter to OFCOM as I believe ID mobile is acting anti competitively by stipulating mobile must be purchased from ID mobile. Please advise.
i had an iphone 6s on contract with ID which i have since upgraded (still on ID...and due to upgrade again at end of year ! ). I would like to give the old iphone 6s to a younger family member who has a Sim card from another network. Is it please possible to unlock it, so that they can use it.? Hi Very frustrated ‘customer’ here. July 2018, My wife wanted a new iPhone SE through car phone warehouse and was declined for a £15 a month tariff with no explanation as staff are not informed of the reason. We have an excellent credit rating and there should be no reason to be declined. So I tried my luck to register the phone in my name and bingo! No problem. New phone. Happy wife. 2 months later, my phone was due an upgrade and I thought i would go for the same phone and tariff as my wife’s as we were happy with the phone,service and deal. I was declined even though I am a existing customer with again no bad credit history, good salary, mortgage no credit card debts etc, confused and annoyed I was told to come back and try again in 30 days after this application had expired. So today I tried again and guess what , I was declined again!! Again no reason given, I have no financial issues whatsoever and stress I am a existing customer with my wife’s new phone with an option
Why do I get txt reminders that I have to make the payment when my direct debit is set up? I have confirmation of direct debit set up but I'm being asked to pay manually. What does it mean? Does it mean that ID Mobile network does not know about how the payment is going to be executed?
Good afternoon,I really hope that this channel will provide the support I’ve been trying to get. I have two defaults on my credit file from ID mobile for two sims I obtained for my children in 2016, mere £5 p/month sims should they have needed to reach me, and which they never used. The contracts ended August 2017, and I replaced the sims with O2 sims on a family account. In 2021 I realised that I’ve been paying for the sims for 4 years after the contracts ended and I stopped the direct debit as I was no longer tied into a contract and have not used any of the sims for 4 years. I have changed my address in the meantime and received one letter forwarded from my old address with a ‘final settlement offer’ for £14.88, which I paid on 31st August 2021 as it threatened legal action. I believed that it was the end of my ID Mobile experience, however I realised later that ID mobile applied TWO defaults on my credit file on 6th September 2021 (after I made the payment!). My WiFi calling was fine until I updated my Realme7 phone to android 11. Now it will not work. I have selected it on the phone, switched off and on, all to no avail. How do I get it to work? This is important because when at home on a normal signal the conversations just keep breaking up. Thanks in advance.
I have ported my number from O2 to iD, using Iphone 11pro I am unable to receive texts where two-way authentication is enabled and the organisation sends me a verification code to be able to login (e.g. eBay, PayPal, Tax office). I have checked all my settings, the correct number is in both phone and message settings. I tried with iMessage on and off. I tried rebooting the phone. Nothing works and I cannot login into my other accounts without the verification codes from the organisations that send them. Please help!!!
Hello. I’ve just upgraded to a Motorola e6s with an iD SIM and with a new number, but for some reason texts sent to it while the phone is turned off aren’t there when I switch it on. Is there something I need to activate to ensure I don’t miss any texts that are sent while the phone is switched off? Thank you for your help.
Hello. I’ve just logged on to my iD account to check how many minutes I have remaining in my allowance (plenty!), only to find a message banner at the top saying there is an outstanding balance of my regular monthly payment and requesting payment. I can’t understand why, as there is a direct debit agreement set up, which you have been using to take the money from my bank account every month without a problem since it was set up earlier this year when I joined iD Mobile. When I go to My billing it says twice as much will be due by the July payment date. However, you have yet to take June’s payment. It’s due on 17th of the month and usually comes out of my bank account on 18th or thereabouts. I’ve contacted my bank and they say there is no problem at their end. What’s going on, please? There is no outstanding balance. By the way, I tried logging a complaint via www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support-complaints-procedure as directed by an iD voicemail but I get a 404 - Page Not Found message
I enter a few text competitions a month that use short codes, usually ITV competitions or the Gadget Show. However the new Gadget Show competition that uses short code 65555 will not send and I simply get a popup error of: Cannot send message with id - error 28 Everything else works, phone, internet, texting. I even entered another competition that uses a short code beginning 6 and that works fine. I still have loads of unused credit before I reach my cap. Gadget show comp has changed the SMS number this series and I read somewhere that short codes have to be manually registered with the network providers to work, so maybe ID have not enabled 65555 yet?? For now I have entered by phone and post, but would be nice to text aswell.
Just trying to connect new SIM. Can get no signal in or near house so NEED wifi calling, which has worked fine with my old provider and current phone (Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)) for several years. This is a ‘supported device’ for ID mobile, you say. Have followed all connection routes on this website and phone instructions and appears NOT to be supported device. What am I doing wrong?

Hello, I am having trouble knowing how to put the contract into my sister’s name. I have been paying her mobile contract since it started in March and she has asked me to transfer it into her name, but I have personally never used Mobile ID, im autistic and got anxiety disorder so I really would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction if possible please. I am with Vodafone, so I really do not know what im doing. im on benefits and accepted to pay £19.99 a month for my sisters contract, however, it has been different amounts per month. Seeing I have shown its stressing me out my sister asked me to transfer the contract into her name but ive noticed there could be a fee as im halfway through the contract. ive not got £700.00 and thats what the remainder of the contract is going to cost. so please can someone ease my mind and let me know how I go about putting the contract into my sisters name? im desperate . its all making me sick and i feel like passing out cause
